The day after our hike of the Santanoni Range, we let our knees rest and spent some time toting around Keene and Keene Valley.

Ricketts Glen Summertime Hike
One of the impressive features of the waterfalls at Ricketts Glen is both how closely spaced and how varied they are. Not only are the falls themselves dramatically different, but they vary themselves as the seasons change and as the water level changes.
The Silence Kit @ The Northstar
The always terrific Silence Kit played a great set in Philly at the Northstar, with my three favorite TSK songs included in the set list.
Porter & Cascade
Our first time up we were new to hiking (Cascade was our first high peak) we didn’t think to take the side hike to Porter Mountain. This time we did both, two peaks in one day.
