Old Rag
Old Rag Mountain in Shenandoah has some serious scrambling up and down crevices, around and over (and under!) massive boulders. In other words, it was really cool.

Pulpit Rock & Pinnacle
We teamed up with another couple to do a fairly interesting 8-mile loop hike near Hamburg, PA – the Pinnacle and Pulpit Rock.

Some Random Photos
Late last year I picked up some Kodak Gold 800 film cheap from Walgreens, and I finally got around to shooting some.

West Chester Alleys And Gardens
More from West Chester, on Fuji 800Z.

A Good Place To Live
Last week I went to Bristol, Tennessee (and Virginia). Bristol is split right down the middle of State Street, with half in TN and the other half in VA.

The County Seat
West Chester, the county seat of Chester County, has some great neo-classical architecture to go along with its quirky small town charm.

Accidental Double Exposures
“You can’t do this with digital.” — Me, the last time I accidentally double-exposed a roll of film.
-
Windows
The rest of the roll from New London (and my upstairs bedroom) with an unintentional theme.

Mystical Sea Creatures
The Mystic Aquarium is small, but decent. They had Beluga whales, sea lions, and penguins outside, and then a small but nice exhibit inside.
-
Mystic Cemetery
Black and whites from a late afternoon walk through a cemetery in Mystic, Connecticut.

En Route
Part of my travels this week from Philly to New London (Conn.), with brief stops in New York Penn Station and New Haven.

Well, THAT Was An Experiment
Two rolls of cheap Fuji 800 speed film, developed in expired (*really* expired!) chemicals. I’m doubtful that the film images will last that long. Shots are from Philadelphia and New York, in December 2010 and January 2011.
