Some snaps from around West Chester yesterday morning…
My two favorite people.
These are color positives – chromes – taken on Fuji Provia 400X in my back yard and neighbors’ yards.
Yesterday’s forecast was dead wrong. Fortunately my flowers didn’t hear it.
Is it spring yet?
My new camera takes negatives that are 6cm x 7cm, which are over four times bigger than 35mm film.
Test shots with the biggest camera I’ll likely own.
I like magnolias because they’re unafraid to be the first ones out, and they’re more of a rugged beauty than the delicate ones who follow.
Similar to my last walk around Longwood Gardens with my medium format camera, this time with negative color film instead of positive. These are all 16 shots from the roll.
Last week I went to Bristol, Tennessee (and Virginia). Bristol is split right down the middle of State Street, with half in TN and the other half in VA.
West Chester, the county seat of Chester County, has some great neo-classical architecture to go along with its quirky small town charm.
Just like my friends at County Corvette, at this shop it is a labor of love.
I had my film camera with me yesterday as well. This is with Kodak T-Max 3200 shot at EI3200, which shows you how dark it was!
