This is what kids used to do all the time…and should do all the time.
My new patch is from the 83rd Infantry (the Thunderbolt) which is my grandfather’s division in World War II.
You’ll thank me.
Late last year I picked up some Kodak Gold 800 film cheap from Walgreens, and I finally got around to shooting some.
Contemplating a movie weekend…
Part of a concept that I’m working on…
Wayne Lutz is the founder of (among other groups) the Warriors’ Watch, which is making sure our debt of gratitude to our soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines is being served.
Ben went shopping…
My two favorite people.
I took Ben to meet my dad in Lancaster for a classical guitar recital. I think I expected something a little more challenging, but hey – this is Lancaster after all.
We were lucky yesterday to have several of the author/veterans of Jeanne Rapp’s new book, “They Conquer Who Endure”, present to sign our copies and tell their stories first hand.
Two rolls of cheap Fuji 800 speed film, developed in expired (*really* expired!) chemicals. I’m doubtful that the film images will last that long. Shots are from Philadelphia and New York, in December 2010 and January 2011.
Cleaning up some straggling images over the past month or so…
Happy New Year!
