Had a chance the other day to swing by 30th Street Station at sunset.
I was honored to be part of the Warriors’ Watch/A Hero’s Welcome escort for First Lieutenant Shane Clair of West Chester.
For those who have never seen this sport played at a high level, come out this year! I promise you’ll like it more than soccer.
The Warriors’ Watch and A Hero’s Welcome cheered LCpl. Joseph Logue at the airport, and then we escorted him to his house in Upper Darby.
The second round of tryouts for the Spinners was an exercise in pain. If you haven’t been out to see an Ultimate game, this is the year, and MLU is the league.
The Spinners played a great game today (so did the Rhode Island Rampage) en route to a 29-20 win. Next game is August 4th for the Eastern Division playoff, then on to the finals in Detroit!
