Fuji 800Z is sharp, has perfect saturation (not too much, not too little), and has a beautiful, noticeable-but-unobtrusive grain. Along with black & white films, Fuji 800Z is a staple in my 35mm cameras. In the 645 cameras, the grain becomes even more subdued.
This film responds well to overexposure; underexposure can quickly lose shadows, especially in skin tones.

I decided to take another walk around Longwood Gardens to see how the orchids are doing. As usual, I spent time with the calla lilies and the silver room, too.
These are scans of real film, all the way to the sprocket holes. This is from a quick Sunday visit to Longwood Gardens. Taken with my F100, and both my 200mm f/4 macro and SMC Takumar 100mm f/4 macro.
Taking the Acela this week through New Haven, where I had a 45 minute layover. Shots with my trusty Pentax 645n and both the 120/4 Macro and 45/2.8, on Fuji 800Z.
Dirty, smelly, ugly San Francisco.
Some simple shots of the Golden Gate Bridge, on Fuji 800Z and Kodak Tri-X.
New York City in Fuji 800Z with a Pentax 645N.
Some Fuji 800Z shot in 120 on my Pentax 645N. New York in July (2010).
