Ricketts Glen in Winter

One of my favorite places was even more fascinating than usual after the recent cold snap and snowstorm. On our way in, many of the waterfalls were completely frozen over, starkly different from their summer shape.

Equally fascinating were the many ice structures and mini ice caves created by the various overhangs. Some of the thicker ice was a vibrant blue. Some samples:
