A Wet TableTop and Phelps

Posted on October 9, 2018October 14, 2018

Not exactly ideal conditions to enjoy a hike, it was warm, humid, and wet. When the Van Hoevenberg trail had running water on it, I knew that it would be a sopping mess getting to TableTop. It wasn’t as bad the last time up with Kathy, where it was a solid stream of water the whole way, but it was almost as bad. Phelps was in nice shape, surprisingly not too wet.

The trees at elevation are already done. Mushrooms are starting to go, too.

However, this wraps up my fifth complete round of hiking all 46, and it was still a better day than work.
