Bits and pieces from in and around West Chester…
Do you remember slide shows, in an actual projector? Fuji Provia 400X is a “chrome”, or a color positive image, instead of a negative like most film.
A late-night walk around West Chester during the last storm.
Taking the Acela this week through New Haven, where I had a 45 minute layover. Shots with my trusty Pentax 645n and both the 120/4 Macro and 45/2.8, on Fuji 800Z.
This is the second roll from my Saturday visit to Longwood Gardens, this one color Kodak Portra 800. Like the previous post, it too shows off the beauty of the large 120 size negatives – and of course the beauty of Longwood Gardens itself.
Yesterday was a great day to go to Longwood Gardens – they’ve opened the expansion to the Conservatory, it is orchid time, and it was a miserable rainy day. This set is from my walk though the Conservatory with Kodak TMY-400 (black and white) and my Pentax 645n.
…the bass was way too loud; even with high-end earplugs it overwhelmed everything else…
Dirty, smelly, ugly San Francisco.
Some simple shots of the Golden Gate Bridge, on Fuji 800Z and Kodak Tri-X.
After dark, shooting around the Grand Central Station area.
New York City in Fuji 800Z with a Pentax 645N.
Some 120 shots with my Pentax 645N. Grainy, but I like it.
Portland, Oregon is known for its breakfasts, so we obliged while there.
Some Fuji 800Z shot in 120 on my Pentax 645N. New York in July (2010).
