The Pentax-FA* 24mm f/2 is a small (for it’s focal length and aperture), well-built, sharp, fun lens.

She watered it, watched it root, made sure it got the right amount of sun. For six years.
We’ve been waiting a while, so it was worth the couple minutes in the garden. Tulips, Japanese Painted ferns, hostas, and even the dreaded dandelion make appearances.
January 1st is a great time to go to Longwood Gardens.

My irises popped up this week, so heading into a very busy few days I stopped to shoot the flowers.
These are a week earlier than 2010, and three weeks earlier than 2009. They’re still my favorite flowering tree.
